BUSINESS TRAVEL TO INCREASE WHILE PROTECTING THE CLIMATE. Some may be surprised to discover that the climate debate has a considerable impact on business travel. Two-thirds of the companies have adapted their travel policy as a result of the raised climate-related questions. The number of business trips will nevertheless increase this year. At least 61 percent of the CEOs and top managers surveyed by AirPlus International are convinced that business travel will increase in intensity in 2020.  One third expects the number of business trips to remain unchanged  (36 percent), while only 3 percent forecast a decline.
